Clayton Floyd

Clayton works in international trade as Managing Director at USGT Investors. Focusing on the trade of physical commodities around the world, he has a unique perspective on how business gets done. Formerly, he built an AI start up which merged into a company building AI and sensors for autonomous robotics. He previously founded a macro economics research firm providing deep proprietary data to the world's largest portfolio managers. Personally, Clayton is an active Angel investor having previously been a Partner at a VC firm. With experience from idea to exit as an investor, he uses this knowledge to help startups with organic growth to position for fundraising. As an advisor to startups, he advocates a “start small” approach. From concept to market or even within a traction test. Think big but start small.
